2025 Denver Century Ride Waiver

By indicating your acceptance, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant as follows:

I wish to participate in the Denver Century Ride.  I acknowledge that I understand its intent, and I for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and representatives, do hereby agree and will absolve and hold harmless Creative Strategies Group, Coldwell Banker, The Shops at Northfield, and Bicycle Colorado as well as all event sponsors, subcontractors, vendors and cooperating organizations and any other parties connected with this event in anyway together with their respective successors and assigns singularly and collectively, from and against any blame and liability for any injury, illness, harm, loss, inconvenience or any other damage of any kind whatsoever, which may result from or be connected in any way to my participation in the Denver Century Ride.

I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.  In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury, illness, accident or death, which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event. I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, danger of illness, effects of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. 

I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, Creative Strategies Group, LLC, d/b/a Denver Century Ride, event contractors, sponsors, promoters, haku and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all of my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event.

I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise.

I hereby grant full permission to the Denver Century Ride as well as any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, social media, website images, recordings or any other record of this event. I understand and agree that these materials are the property of the Denver Century Ride.

I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable.

All matters arising out of or relating to the above and on location at the event shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Colorado without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.

Bear Creek Lake Park Release & Covenant Not To Sue

Cyclists on the 85-mile and 100-mile courses through Bear Creek State Park hereby execute this Release in favor of the City of Lakewood, a home rule municipal corporation of the State of Colorado whose principal business address is 480 South Allison Parkway, Lakewood, Colorado 80226 (the "City").

THIS RELEASE is for the following activity/ies (the "Released Activities"):

Denver Century Ride - 2025        

Location of Released Activities:  Bear Creek Lake Park, 15600 W. Morrison Rd   

Time period of Released Activities:  September 27, 2025 - 7:00am – 4:00pm

By signing this Release, the Releasor acknowledges, understands and agrees that, in consideration of the City allowing the Releasor to participate in the Released Activities, the Releasor waives any and all claims against the City, whether based on contract, negligence or otherwise, for damages of any nature or kind the Releasor may suffer as a result of his or her participation in the Released Activities.  Releasor expressly releases, and agrees to forego any legal action against, the City and its officers, employees, agents and assigns as to any claims, costs or expenses the Releasor may have that arise from or out of the Released Activities.

Nothing in this Release shall be construed to waive, limit or otherwise modify any governmental immunity that may be available under the Colorado Governmental Immunity Act, C.R.S. §§ 24-10-101, et seq., to the City and its officials, employees, agents or other persons acting on the City's behalf.

Should any provision of this Release be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall not affect or impair the validity, legality or enforceability of any other provision of this Release.

CERTIFICATION: I hereby certify that I have read, understand and agree to the contents of this Release and sign the same voluntarily.

HAKU REGISTRATION AGREEMENT AND LIABILITY WAIVER:

In consideration of the foregoing, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors and assigns, waive and release any and all rights, claims and courses of action I have or may have against haku, Denver Century Ride, and its affiliates, their agents, employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns and any and all sponsors, their representatives and successors, that may arise as a result of my participation in the Denver Century Ride 2025 and any pre- and post- event activities. I attest and verify that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and my physical condition has been verified by a licensed medical doctor. Further, I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising, without monetary payment to me.
